Alterations - Residential

We offer a friendly service to help you maximise the potential of any extension to your property and ensure that the proposals best meet your requirements.

With all their experience our surveyor will be able to combine your ideas with our experience and produce proposals which work well on the site, are cost efficient and enhance the property both functionally and aesthetically.

We are able to provide a range of services from drawings sufficient to obtain Planning Approval (if necessary) and Building Control approval, up to full working drawings and specification adequate to obtain tenders from local building contractors.

Planning Applications

Once a suitable scheme has been designed and agreed with you we are able to proceed with a Planning Application. Where the property is a listed building or in a conservation area we will also apply for the appropriate consents.

Building Regulations Applications

Once a scheme has planning permission we are able to offer a service to obtain building regulation approval. Details for these approvals will include all the necessary drawings together with all required structural and other calculations adequate for submission to Local Authority.

Construction

Once all approvals have been obtained most of our clients prefer to find their own contractor to undertake the works. We are however able to offer a project management service, obtaining competitive tenders, supervising the works and ensuring that works are undertaken to the appropriate standard before payment is made.

Perhaps equally important; we can work with the contractor to ensure that as little disruption as possible is caused to your living environment whilst the works are undertaken.
