Homebuyer Survey and Valuation (HSV)
This is most suitable for conventional properties built within the last 50 years, which are in reasonable condition.
It provides a concise report detailing any significant problems that could make a difference to the value of the property.

Building Survey
This is suitable for all older style residential properties, providing a detailed report on their construction and condition.
It is particularly useful if the property is dilapidated, has been extensively altered or you’re planning a major conversion or renovation.
Building Inspections
Often General practice surveyors identify defects when they undertake a homebuyer report but they are not sufficiently experienced in building construction techniques to identify the true nature of the defect. A brief building inspection can often identify the nature of the defect and move the sale on quickly.
Should you or your surveyor identify a problem with your property it is important that it is inspected as soon as possible in order to establish the nature of the defect and to ensure that it will not deteriorate and lead to other problems.
Measured Survey
A measured survey is always undertaken prior to producing drawings for alterations or extensions however some clients request measured surveys to assist in space planning, rebuilding valuations, or simply to have plans of their property.
Land Surveys
Land surveys are usually undertaken for new build projects or when extensions are proposed. The land survey not only identifies the position of elements in plan, but also details the various levels across the site.
